If you’re looking for a fun farm with a historic farmhouse, a train, easy trails and cute wildlife then look no further than Ardenwood Historic Farm. I first found this place when I was looking for a fun ‘nature day’ for my son because there are a lot easy flat and short trails. There’s also a cute train ride on select days (Thursdays + weekends) and cute farm animals! They have fun events for kids throughout the year so I recommend checking out there EVENTS PAGE for the latest and greatest!
So far we’ve gone to their Memorial Day special event day where they had storytime, ice cream making, and other fun activities for the kids. We have also checked out their ‘Toddler Time’ which I recommend for anyone who has littles and want to check out the farm when there aren’t too many older kids + fieldtrips.
